Re: Alaska Airlines Fleet Network and News Discussion - 2022

Had to guess, lot of those LAX cxls are for E175 reassignment (the LAX-SLC turn always comes from a big station: PDX, SJC mostly) and LAX- Hawaii for Airbus retirements. gate shortages are killing them and AA is strong there. Can't downsize SEA, SFO, or PDX since AS is top 2 players in those markets...

Re: Alaska Airlines Fleet Network and News Discussion - 2022

I wonder if they need the 175's to cover some of the markets that the Q was in - like EAT, MWH, PUW, etc. Starting this winter mainline will be covering SEA-STS and SEA-SBA. Some other markets that had a mix of QX and AS are going to solely AS, like SEA-FAT and SEA-RNO. Also seeing more AS mainline...

1) Most Amphibious planes have the capabilities of coming ashore to a beach, such as the DHC-6 and C208. Don't see why the US-2 (the Japanese plane you mentioned) or a C-130 Amphibian can't do the same, but there will always be concerns of rocks and other foreign material. CH56K (largest helicopter ...

Only thought was that the A321neo can fly farther, making it attractive vs. MAX. Knew the MAX has more cargo space so checks that part of the 767 role, but not the range part. Are you saying the MAX has more cargo room than the 321neo? Only the 7MJ has more cargo volume than 321neo. The achilles he...
