Re: Chicago Aviation - 2024

It's [basically] official... City + Airlines [with 99.99% certainty] agree on ORD 21 changes + pivots, per the lead arbitrator. New schedule: SAT 1 to begin construction later this summer, accelerated schedule. OGT to begin immediately after. SAT 2 to begin as OGT wraps. AA + UA really want to beef...

This project is lipstick on a pig. You can criticize the ORD 21 program for a variety of reasons, but it's not lipstick on a pig. I think one thing people don't realize is how much work has gone into making the runway situation significantly better and expanded over the last 20 years. Remember, we ...

Okay, then we should have active threads for DL, AA, B6, and WN for HQ relocation. DL was being pursued by New York state two years ago in response to GA's draconian voting laws. Incorrect. Ok then you’re right. It’s impossible for a plug to escape from an aircraft mid flight. Not sure what this thread is about. You are correct it is not a door, but it does push against pads on the airframe due to pressure differential. Not a true plug, but also not just held on by bolts. T...
