Space is already weaponized and militarized. The only military presence in space are spy and military communication satellites. There are no weapons systems deployed in space, at least as far as the public is aware. Yes, as far as the public knows. But there are many reports and rumors about weapon...Jump to post
I asked the following in the previous thread but id love to know how it was during the Soviet Union era. Growing up in the USSR, was it possible/easy for the people to travel, international or domestic? How much exposure did you guys have to western media/culture? How did the Soviet people perceive ...Jump to post

Personally I'm imagining it as a widebody MC-21 :p Can't see a short-and-fat design like the A310 or B762 - increasing fuselage diameter increases drag, which needs to be offset both aerodynamically (eg by increasing overall wetted area) and financially (increasing capacity), and I think the busine...Jump to post

We have our next presidential candidate Well, he was mayor of Cincinnati in the late 70s, but he was born in England and thus is not eligible for the position. That said, I've heard him when he had a radio show in the past, where he wasn't doing his TV-show shtick, and he is intelligent, articulate...Jump to post
Any military force in space should be run by the UN. I am all for travelling through space for QRFs to get to the other side of the globe in the future by any nation, but not a dedicated force to control space itself. Space should be left alone for human exploration, not an extension of mans wars.Jump to post
UA at one time was reported to be "interested". But i believe that was one of Airbus' big last ditch efforts for a solid order.Jump to post
Anyone else notice in the article that theyre looking to fly to Fort Worth?
I'm excited! Neeleman is great at starting airlines and he has a good team with him! Plus more CSeries orders! I cant wait for the base announcement and livery release!
DL also has some younger MD80s with the applicable upgrades to make them MD88s. DL also has an extremely robust tech ops division. (U)LCCs dont have very hood maintenance track records (G4 engine issues, and WN being fined after that one incident come to mind); although it seems NK has a good maint...Jump to post
By 2026, there will be more countries in the world cup than out Good news for the Netherlands and Italy! Sorry, I could not resist... I know corporate jets aren't designed for flying the way commercial airliners do, but is there a market for a small fleet of corporate jets to fly long and thin but ultra premium markets operated, or at least leased, by full service airlines? It would allow airlines to phase put dedicated First Clas...Jump to post
Im excited! Houston AND Denver (home town and current place of living) are both venue candidates!
And as far as the this years Cup goes, Russia (even though P-Money bought it) still makes for a better host than Qatar: more than one major city for venues for starters.
They will not keep HND. They will probably announce it much later. Yes, the slot is valuable, but they have dropped HND from SEA/DTW and MSP never made much sense. If DL scraps MSP-HND, and the DoT gets furious with them (as stated by a previous poster) again, what are the chances of it going to UA...Jump to post

I have a gut feeling this will be a replacement for HND. With BOM starting as well and 777 mods going on, I don't see how Delta has the slack in the fleet for this. I wonder if DL will also start SLC-ICN. SLC has gone gangbusters with Europe service so there must be a market for one Asia flight. Pr...Jump to post

If they really did sign some kind of binding agreement, Kim would have to. They know they will be under a microscope. But they signed no such agreement. Trump merely validated the NK regime; the US has withheld that recognition for over seventy years until Trump gave it to them on his own. And ceas...Jump to post
Possible removal of nukes from the Korean peninsula is nothing? Kim is not going to give up his nukes or his ICBMs. What have you been smoking? A remarkable day for mankind! I cant wait to hear the contents of the documents they signed. Hopefully a formal end of hostilities. Any chance IAG can rely more on EI to funnel pax to LCY if/when BAs nonstop to JFK is cut?
In terms of alliances, it makes sense for EI to join one world, but is there a chance they may want to put them in another alliance to double dip? Would that even be legal?
My childhood revolved around CO and since If started wishing for a big aortic in DEN I've become more curious about COs history there.
