50 seat RJ with F plausible?

I just got a random thought: If BBD or EMB were to stretch the CR2 or 145, respectively, to allow a dedicated F product/cabin and still keep the aircraft at 50 seats (4F 46Y for example), would it be possible to see a resurgence in the 50 seat RJ? It would still only need 1 FA and the revenue from t...

Not sure if thos counts but Southwest has abput 1 million "through" flights where you start out in (for example) DEN, fly to PDX and stay on the plane, and continue on to SMF, and even SAN if you choose to do so.

Re: UA TATL flights to FRA from midsized markets?

UA has a lot more opportunities in TATL before they start thinking about non-hub markets to FRA. They don’t even fly DEN-FRA yet. But they do have LH on MUC/FRA-DEN. They are also the only US airline to serve the LHR and NRT from all of their hubs in the US, which is extremely good connectivity. I ...

For a while DL planned to fly to NBO. I believe homeland security stopped it. Other destinations they have tried and pulled back from. So experience wise, they got that. UA just dabbled, based on the oil business. UA did operate IAD-LOS/ACC in the mid-2000s. Does the 757 have the range for IAD/EWR ...

Re: A340: Last flight and post-airline use

The big problem with the A343 is that those engines are not in production and AFAIK, there are no spares. As existing aircraft are retired, I guess the engines can be cannibalized, but for now if an A343 ingests a large bird or something, it's going to be AOG for a while. As for the A345/6, I am no...
