Any updates on the first MAX9 as far as Final Assembly/First Flight/Delivery date? First one is LN 6834/N76501 and is in pre-assembly right now. The production rate is 40+/month so it should be on the flight line before end of February. I’m guessing UA will have it on property by April(?). No clue ...

I don’t understand the PMUA fleet being retired as soon as they were. Of the planes that were retired 36 or so were snapped up by Fed Ex. These jets had 25-30k cycles with 55-65k hours. Observation; 763 N644UA was opperating UA71 AMSORD on 19Jan when it retured to AMS due sudden crew/passenger illness. FlightAware shows it been there ever since. This suggests the issue was caused by a problem with the aircraft. Any info on this?

UA101 IAHSYD inauguration is today. 789 N35953 will start things going. Flight is booked almost full... or as full as allowed anyway. Flight is weight restricted 51 seats. :crowded: won’t be a problem on this route I think.

Only two more 789s to go. 973 should roll off the FAL any day now and 974 is literally right behind it. 974 is LN 663, first UA 78J LN 731, so it will be awhile on that.
Meanwhile it will be a race to see which is ready next, 15th UA 77W, or first 737Max9.

N24972 B1 on 11th, C1 on 13th... Delivery on 15th? More likely whenever 971 clears induction at IAD.
973 is next off the FAL and 974 is right behind it. These are the last two UA789s for now. Bit of a wait for the first 7810.
