Re: Allegiant DIscussion Thread - 2019

I was just reading another thread about schedule changes/updates and that G4 will be starting DEN-AVL three times a week. This is a long flight by G4's standards so I am curious as to what kind of demand there is between the two areas as I don't really see a connection between Denver and Asheville.

Allegiant has been serving LAX for a number of years but I am curious as to why and how they ended up serving LAX rather than a secondary airport like LGB or ONT. 753 for freight ops?

I was driving by the FLL Fedex facility today and there was a 752 parked at the ramp. Seeing the 752 out there made me wonder if there might be a market for older 753s by Fedex and UPS seeing that the 753 can seemingly handle quite a bit more freight than the 752.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yesterday I flew on a A321S, MIA to SFO. I was in seat 12 A right behind the exit row. In the exit row ahead of me there was a large metal box attached to the floor right behind the seats in front of the exit row.
Just curious as to what the box is there for.
