In all likelihood has rolled backwards and hit the jet bridge at the gate directly behind where it was parked. Most stands/gates are designed to be upsloped in the direction the plane docks to help with parking.

The FR24 data shows that plane climbed to a normal cruise altitude and flew at a pretty normal speed. This indicates that although there were flames the engine continued to operate normally.

The visual approaches offered in the US are done so to remove the burden of traffic separation from the controller. The ILS is still on and functioning and can and is still used.
