Dummy schedule for next year. The route is struggling, barely filling 60% in the back while the front is empty. Rumor is that DFW-AMS will go to BCN. Looks like N211UA 772 Domestic Mod is en route from HKG to HNL completing that mod package. Three of us flew the aircraft into HNL last night. It will complete the last ferry leg to SFO later this evening. New car smell last night with all those new seats... So how do the domestic 777's look like? ...

Shocked to see IAD-DUB being dropped. Also, I find it interesting how TPA-LAX can only sustain around 1 daily flight. DL operates two daily flights on certain days, I know, but when AA entered the market it failed miserably.


Anyways, just some observational comments, not factual.

Tampa is always going to be mid level airport. The city does not have the demand as Orlando and Miami. There is not much business' headquartered there. The sports teams are not very good so they don't draw out of town travelers to see games. The only amusement park is Busch Gardens which is right i...

I wonder if TPA could be DL's next focus city. Could AS start an eastern focus city there with their E-jets? I feel like WN has peaked at TPA and it's time for someone else to make a run for their money.

Seems like UA keeps cutting frequencies all over the board. No more IAD-GUA apparently and it's interesting to see how many destinations go down to only 3 daily IAH flights.

Times have changed.

I have a feeling they will go for the E-2 jets. They have been adequately improved, no new aircraft model costs, and have incredible economics. I'm sure the glitches that the Embraers had when it comes to maintenance issues and such have already been addressed and fixed by Embraer.

Interesting to see that JAX, MCI and ORF have limited connections from BOS. No European flights connect to any of these.

Also interesting to note that this is the second hub invasion from DL. First it was SEA, now it's Boston; funny to note each city is at opposite corners of the country.

Reducing BOS, SEA and LAX to one daily will free up quite a few aircraft. I wonder what they will do with the spare capacity. Maybe use it to their advantage to accelerate the retrofit of a new cabin?

Do we have the schedules for the new flights? Good for AA on trying out seasonal ORD-GUA, definitely did not see this coming. However, it is a route that has been operated before and with a good amount of O/D traffic.

I don't know why people pay more attention to the CS series. I personally love the new EMB 190/95 models and the numbers they are promising are nothing to laugh at.
