Re: Central American Aviation Thread - 2017 (2nd Half)

Passengers do have to get off the plane at GUA (for those going to MGA and SAL) and at SAL/MGA (for those going onwards to MAD). I do have to say that, although it sounds inconvenient, the flight is super comfortable. A short hop to SAL/MGA and an hour layover is so much better than flying to PTY, M...

I have one more question, and it’s not related to my original question but might as well give it a go. I have noticed that many of the aircraft never depart. How about connecting the dots at FLL? A couple of flights to Boston are more than necessary I would say. A FLL-GUA/MGA flight, even 4 times a week seems very logical and inevitable to me, and WN should do it before B6 does it, as it is only a matter of time.

Dummy schedule for next year. The route is struggling, barely filling 60% in the back while the front is empty. Rumor is that DFW-AMS will go to BCN. ORD-BCN has done quite well up front, even with the late departure (788 rotation) and may go longer. Interesting. How would you know this? One of my ...

Interesting to see that JAX, MCI and ORF have limited connections from BOS. No European flights connect to any of these.

Also interesting to note that this is the second hub invasion from DL. First it was SEA, now it's Boston; funny to note each city is at opposite corners of the country.
