Iberia is launching a new 3rd daily frequency Madrid -Mexico City this summer. The new flight will operate 5 x week during this summer and the idea is to make this 3rd daily flight a year round service. The year round confirmation of this 3rd daily flight is pending on the slot approval by the Mexi...Jump to post
I’m pretty sure Interjet will start secondary Mexico cities to Central America as well, especially GUA and SJO, which seem like the go to places for Mexican airlines.Jump to post
More Latin American destinations this year hopefully!!Jump to post
I think it’s time for B6 or WN to take advantage of AV’s disregard to the GUA-MIA market and launch GUA-FLL.Jump to post
January is when the repaints kick back into high gear. It looks like 3 dedicated lines of painting in both Spokane and Victorville with an average of 12 -700’s a month being repainted for the next few months. Wow, that’s a huge amount planes per month. I wonder how that affects their schedule consi...Jump to post

Seems like UA handled the situation very well. Well done United.Jump to post
I truly amazes me how an airlines can have so many aircraft out of service for mods. I know all big airlines see this daily but it still amazes me. Quick question: When ordering aircraft, do airlines order planes to dedicate them for the strict purpose of having spares? For example: when ordering 10...Jump to post
Looks like the BOS and MCO adds are all 737’s while DFW will be down by E-175’sJump to post
Passengers do have to get off the plane at GUA (for those going to MGA and SAL) and at SAL/MGA (for those going onwards to MAD). I do have to say that, although it sounds inconvenient, the flight is super comfortable. A short hop to SAL/MGA and an hour layover is so much better than flying to PTY, M...Jump to post
I have one more question, and it’s not related to my original question but might as well give it a go. I have noticed that many of the aircraft never depart. They just stay at their gates the entire time and this is annoying because small airports like DAL get full and the aircraft then have nowher...Jump to post
Interesting concept. I wish nothing but the best to them. As a side note, does anyone know how long it's going to take B6 to retrofit the aircraft that are slated to start in November? Hopefully they get that done fast. It seemed to take a long time for the first aircraft to get retrofitted since th...Jump to post
Hello everyone. So I just downloaded Ultimate Traffic 2 and just updated my United Airlines aircraft and have all the current aircraft and liveries. However, my UA express aircraft are not parking at the United Express gates and I don't know why. The aircraft CFG have UAX on the parking code. I als...Jump to post

That's a massive winter reduction for a United. What's gonna happen to all those planes?Jump to post
What is their business model anyways? They have a really weird schedule our of Minneapolis. I don't even know if they offer connections or where they fly their 22 B737's. Can someone please clarify this?Jump to post
How about connecting the dots at FLL? A couple of flights to Boston are more than necessary I would say. A FLL-GUA/MGA flight, even 4 times a week seems very logical and inevitable to me, and WN should do it before B6 does it, as it is only a matter of time.Jump to post
Do we know the frequencies on the routes? TPA sees a huge boost. I wonder if it'll become one of their largest stations. Are they adding new aircraft to be able to do this massive expansion?Jump to post
Dummy schedule for next year. The route is struggling, barely filling 60% in the back while the front is empty. Rumor is that DFW-AMS will go to BCN. ORD-BCN has done quite well up front, even with the late departure (788 rotation) and may go longer. Interesting. How would you know this? One of my ...Jump to post
Looks like N211UA 772 Domestic Mod is en route from HKG to HNL completing that mod package. Three of us flew the aircraft into HNL last night. It will complete the last ferry leg to SFO later this evening. New car smell last night with all those new seats... So how do the domestic 777's look like? ...Jump to post
Shocked to see IAD-DUB being dropped. Also, I find it interesting how TPA-LAX can only sustain around 1 daily flight. DL operates two daily flights on certain days, I know, but when AA entered the market it failed miserably.
Anyways, just some observational comments, not factual.
Tampa is always going to be mid level airport. The city does not have the demand as Orlando and Miami. There is not much business' headquartered there. The sports teams are not very good so they don't draw out of town travelers to see games. The only amusement park is Busch Gardens which is right i...Jump to post
How about UA? I know they announced an update on their MAX order but I wouldn't discard UA being the owner.Jump to post
NK has a significant presence at TPA these days. How many destinations/departures do they currently have and how does it compare to other stations?Jump to post
Hopefully they refurbish the aircraft and look nothing like the international 757's from AA. They are embarrassing.Jump to post
AV109 BOG 22:20 07:01 MVD A320 D AV110 MVD 07:49 12:37 BOG A320 D Interesting that with that schedule, there are a variety of U.S. markets that connect with MVD in one direction or the other, but the only U.S. market - unless I'm missing one - that connects conveniently with that schedule both ways...Jump to post
Seems like UA keeps cutting frequencies all over the board. No more IAD-GUA apparently and it's interesting to see how many destinations go down to only 3 daily IAH flights.
Times have changed.
I would assume Central America (at least one destination) is on the next round of expansion. It would only seem logical.Jump to post
Enilria...despite all of the bickering between AS and DL here. DL has really ramped up SEA activity and probably had a hand at building up all the competition...not just with AS, but with many other airlines old and new. I had this epiphany when I arrived from BOI on a Q400 and kind of looked aroun...Jump to post
