The one that surprised me the most was Elko (EKO) with its one jet bridge which angles upward from the ground floor of the terminal. On the current google maps imagry it appears unused by the CRJ-200 in the photo with a mobile ramp in use instead.

Are you able to search and piece together the itinerary you like on ITA Matrix? Then you could use Book with Matrix to buy it. Won't be booking direct with the airline but may at least be able to get the flights you want on one ticket.

For containerized aircraft, they will be loaded on the last ULD to be loaded (the first to be unloaded) and will therefore usually be first to arrive at the carousel. At my airport anyway.

Only one I believe: In 2014 on a PIA 77L flight from MAN-JFK diverted to IAD due to weather in New York. Parked at a remote stand alongside other diversions then refueled and departed for JFK 3 hours later.

The kind I have never flown on before.

Should that be impossible, then I'd prefer one with personal air vents and 1 or 2 seats together in a section rather than 3, 4, or 5. Prefer Airbus narrowbodies over 737s.
