I've done HEL-YHZ-CUN on a 227 seater AY 752. Around 15h of pure joy :D. I think the longest route they did with those was HEL-YHZ-CTG in the early 2010's clocking 16h of travel time.

From this video you can see the protrusion the OP is referring to: there are three seats each side at 2L/R and the window seats are encroaching on the door. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUNhohtzCQg However, that does not seem to happen at 3L/R. 14 CFR 25.807 is the answer. I see this being very similar to AY's move with NKG: they couldn't get more rights to PVG so they settled for what they could get. Routesonline disclosed the schedule as follows: AY081 HEL1705 – 0710+1PKX 333 137 AY082 PKX1110 – 1405HEL 333 124 Which is surely an excellent one. Looks like it will ch...

Does anyone have any insight on the reconfiguration of the A32X fleet? Couple of years ago they said they were adding 9 to 13 seats on them but I havent seen any news since. Surely they wouldnt reconfigure them if they were going to get rid of them right away. http://news.cision.com/finnair/r/finnai...

AY does 24h rotations on most of their long hauls. Perhaps they've willingly downgraded the doors from type C to type III? I know FAR's are not applicable in Vietnam but at least according to them a type C exit (a normal A321 non-entry door) must be at least 30" wide while type III only needs to be 20" wide. I think they can calculate the ...
