almost all due to airberlin who were doing a lot of flights for them after a deal they made with etihad. Indeed LH group is the biggest airline in europe once more and they are not growing LH. Judging by the open main gear doors, it appears that they had also attempted to lower the gear using the alternate release & extension system (which, on the Q400, prevents the doors from closing once the main wheels are out). This would seem to rule out a sudden, unexpected nose gear failure on...

Wauw, just have a look at this wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dash_8_landing_gear_incidents that is a long list and althrough not all are similar "events" should we agian expect a grounding of the Q400 fleet? This happend before after the SAS series I flew this airplane in October.

WOW seems to be more affected than ICE. DAL from JFK also has a 3 hour delay. Well bad luck I guess some missed conections.

Not a hub it wants to start flights and connect to star alliance partners as I understand.

Can see this working for them if they are allow flights. Ethiopian was always cheap to fly but lately I haven't seen any offer might indicate they can ask a premium.

LOT should leave the Star alliance as Lufthansa, ANA and Singapore Airliens don't help it to Asia or to the USA. OneWorld would love a hub in that part of the world and LOT would greatly benefit from OW since so many of their long haul destinations are OW hubs or focus cities. Imagine a LOT with AA...

It is a deutsche bahn train just with LH "code share" and a LH contact person. You need to check in at a dedicated checkin counter at frankfurt once you arrvie in FRA.

Looking at the video it looks to me the powerplant and the chimney in specific are really close to the airplanes. How is this handled or I am overly concerned with the clearance?
