Why the heak always taxes? I pay already to many taxes and also think the EU as institute should not be allowed to collected taxes. Think about alternative fuels or propulsion systems. No aviation has a very limited lobby (being a lobbyist) it is international treaties that prevent VAT. On domestic ...Jump to post
I guess those A380 come in Handy now and will be utilized to the Maximum can we already see if there utilization rates will be increased?Jump to post
Can I also say I don't consider the EU = Europe and I also don't consider Brussel the EU capital.I say that being a part time lobbist flying into brussel on a bi-weekely basis. And yes Amsterdam is the capital of my home country.Jump to post
Good that they are studying options KL/AF are in a difficult situation. 1) AMS is "full" politically for now - only capacity increases are an option 2) AF likes to strike Transavia might be an option but remember the failed expention plans in e.g. MUN. Other France airports with the 321 mi...Jump to post
BA offers 290 euro tickes from FRA to LAS are these correct?Jump to post
daily LH from FRA. To expend on this Daily in summer, 3 or 4 times in winter. In summer they do also fly from MUN (not daily). Eurowings flies from Hamburg and Cologne. Austrian from Vienna (3 times per week I think). Plus the reason I know this I am always looking for miles and more seats and neve...Jump to post

I think Ethiopian would love to fly to MUN but no idea what is stoping them. The above artical even says that opened reservations once.

“Ten percent of our [Lufthansa Group] aircraft is based in Austria, but only 4% of the group’s profit is generated there.[/quote]
Playing with statistics. Give OS A380s and they can fly with 4 % of the fleet.
What is new? France is not a very competitive country to do business and the population accepts it and gets to reap the benefits and disadvantages. Air France is one of the may companies that suffers from it. Open crew basis elsewhere maybe?Jump to post

Can we agree trump is bad and hilary would have been bad.
Seriously rock and a hard place comes to my mind.
As pointed out above there are currently no sanctions in place just serious movements towards them. Now might be the time to sell a few airframes and deliver them fast.Jump to post

I guess it depends on where you sit? In addition were does the 6 decimals come from? Might be more quick from the outside (i.e. people that live near airport benifit)?Jump to post
I guess and suspect based on the pictures two? But then this is not an aviation question. Really she had a bag, a personal item, a medical breast pump, and a freaking large cooler that fits a cow. American airliners website says "Diaper bags (1 per child), soft-sided cooler bags with breast mil...Jump to post
The article mentions a potential fine of 50,000 euro per incident. If the local government loses patience with them then they'll start enforcing the fines. I think they are being indulged at the moment as they are new to the airport but they'll just be fined in to compliance and/or given last incom...Jump to post
I can understand that some people do not want to slide of the wing (even if the remember that they need to do this) as its high and one could hurt themselves think about the more elderly among us. This situation didn't seem extremly critical so risk benifit analysis I wait for someone to help me get...Jump to post

Am I the only worried that some food derived trigger happy north korea soldier will mixup a 777 for an F-16? I wouldn't like to fly over North Korea at this point in time.Jump to post
LEJ-MUC was that ever an Air Berlin route? Otherwise I can see the need for extra demand considering it was an extended weekend in Germany just LEJ just doesn't make sense in my opinion and I would liek to know if Styllo777 his guess / hypothosis is correct.Jump to post
Really has this something to do with his tweet claiming the safest aviation year was due to his work? Anyhow great that he is thanking the employees and people that helped. Just don't see how this helps I would rather have the FAA do their job without political involvement and bias.Jump to post
Airlines in the post-consolidation world have proven they can make money when Jet A is at $120/bbl. I'm far less concerned about oil prices insofar as airlines than I ever have been previously. I agree but 1) If high oil prices are combined with an economic downtrun 2) Non-consilidated airlines (EU...Jump to post

Ridiculous normally any logical thinking goverment would give in, but eh.... some airlines will cope with this (i.e. give in, add an extra stop, or put in more in the tank) others will give up.Jump to post
WOW air innovator? How? I think I just went to great lengths to explain just that. ;) OK, I'll reformulate. WOW air is innovative by offering several (5 right now) tiers of Economy class seats that can be purchased on a per flight basis for reasonable price and are not tied to other options such as...Jump to post
To get back to topic the awnser is yes. If you look here Atlanta is the only megagub in decline.
