I think Fiji Airways Nandi to Adelaide flight has been affected. Not sure on Nandi Melbourne, they are mostly 737s not sure if they are operating their 330s to Melbourne like they to do Sydney. Fiji airways has six 737 so grounding two will impact there operations. Tried to find out what they are d...Jump to post

I think this weekend Eurowings, Condor, lufthansa, and maybe Ryanair will get some applications. Not paying employees in a country with 1.2 mil open positions is the start of the end. What is going wrong after air berlin prices increased but now they have come down a bit what is the cause and I do n...Jump to post
Can't austian keep some profitable decentralized by opperating in a W pattern? Above it is .mentioned that Austrian like to get 10 Airbus for 200 million. That sounds unrealistic.Jump to post
They will remove the EU flag? Sorry moving on here
Btw I know that don't have the EU flag on the livery in contrast to some other airlines.

Enough delayed to get compensation? No, de-icing or better weather is an act of god, outside of the control of the airline. So, no compensation. However, if LH is living up to its 5star status, they have offered vouchers for food & drinks. Ah correct a free beer, cool (might have been to early ...Jump to post

EIN did grow the part years, it will grow more imho, just don't expect the need for one more hub. There are no trains going to the airport (and the bus station that was under contraction needed to be demolished), it is still being used by the Dutch airforce. Not the best conditions for inter regiona...Jump to post

Prices are down the drain. That migh stop KLM (I think there was a tread on this a few years ago). Prices that are low do not stop Ryanair though and I guess we will see them in KEF once they have enough points on the map elsewhere. Seems Ryanair found a new niche with Israel and Jordan. Also with w...Jump to post

Wow, 88 $ and this level of service (hot towels). This is not a sustainable but what I gather from the idian aviation market (i.e. reading airliners) most airlines are not profitable.
