Jump to postGood move B6. Europe is choking themselves from economic growth that will harm their future generations to come. Jump to postYou would likely be looking in the ballpark of about 5%. Going from 767 to 787 is about 20% more fuel efficient. 767 was designed in the 1970s and the 787 in the 2000s. 30 years gives you 20% so your 8 years is 5%. Obviously it’s not a linear equation but for this estimate we can base it off. You ar...
Jump to postSYD to DXB might be the maximum range that the 787-10 could do. How’s QF’s partnership with EK going these days? Is QF still operating DXB as a hub?
Jump to postThey could have atleast made the white fuselage a glowing sand colored like Etihad’s. Then it would have looked brilliant. This is Iberia with an Indian twist.
Jump to postUA 767s approaching the same reliability of G4 MD-80s in their final years. A pity because the 767 is their most comfortable plane in Y & Y+.
Jump to postMaybe they will build a training base with its own runways. Or maybe Megahub Denver is really going to happen. The 787s can make it to the East Coast of Australia, as far as BKK in South East Asia, the entire Indian subcontinent (pending Russian airspace opening), and every European city from Denver...
Jump to post. Could the forward pivoting MLG have anything to do with it? That MLG doesn't help. The 757 is much easier to "grease". This type of incident has happened before. The crease is always in about the same place. As I recall, it results from a hard landing, then a bounce that develops into a...
Jump to post767s are indeed less smooth on landing compared to you 777, A330s and even the 787. The main landing gears don’t pivot backwards on the 767. 767 also has thicker wings, bigger wing chord and tail compared to its peers. This makes it slightly harder to control during low speed approaches but not as b...

Jump to postYou guys are way too paranoid… Russia wouldn’t do a thing to harm these passengers. It wasn’t Russia that banned planes from overflying their airspace first.
Now if it was NK or something, I would be worried.
SQ is looking at the E-Jet probably E-195, so that’s a good option for HA. More comfortable than a 737. Granted there a difference between doing about 20 30 minute flights a day vs 5-8 2 hour flights.
And yes, the American public hates turboprops.
It’s probably more cost effective to build an underground/sea tunnel to take you from North America to Australia. Then we can just run hyperloop trains or something all the way there.
It will be something that’s like 200 times bigger than the English Channel Tunnel

I have something to mention that no one has done yet. We know that UA/EK have a codeshare coming on flights soon.
