Ship 5305 (P.s. 757-200} which was retired Valentine's day is scheduled to fly out of GYR to MIA as flight 2710 on the 18th. Im guessing they're bring her back because of the MAX grounding.

Speaking of the DirecTV announcement, I flew on N76523 sunday, a 737-800 with DTV still installed and the TVs were turned off the whole flight and the aircraft had Personal Device Entertainment. It seems UA may be keeping the TV's installed and just adding PDE.

As a network discussion topic, I would like to know UA's strategy with placing 752's on a lot of transcon routes this year out of EWR/IAD. Specifically stations like PHX/SEA/SAN/LAS-EWR/IAD. I wonder if this will stay year round to maybe compete with jetBlue Mint.

I think United is bringing in a 777 for the Holiday Bowl this year...can't confirm it yet. I don't know of any other charter operations from other carriers yet.

Gate 46 and 47 will be the first gates in San Diego to have hydra fuel lines installed under the gates eliminating fuel trucks. Finally, our airport is becoming modern and standard. As a UA MP, this is great news on upgrade to IAW/EWR. The flatbeds and more capacity to east coast is long overdue. Most of UA's 737's outta SAN are sold out and cramped at times. I miss the old days when UA had lots of 757's to most of their hubs. Obviously will never see that again with poor fuel...

The "Low Density" 767s (76L) will be placed on ORD/EWR-LHR and EWR-GVA/ZRH routes is what I can see when they get converted. I don't think IAD will see them either.

I would like to see DEN-LHR go year round for UA. That extra seasonal EWR flight is not needed. Light loads are common during the winter. So I wonder who did the retrofit on 2131 while in SFO...But seat map for 2131 confirms that it's the first 77W with PP installed. I wonder if the MAX-10 will have a door 2L boarding process to keep it as "premium" as possible.

I believe most of the current two class , non Polaris, 763s were previously domestic aircraft for pre-merger UA. The first 14 were, then 7 previously 3 class intl were also converted. I don’t understand: will all remaining 763’s ultimately get the high premium configuration as the 3 Hawaiian 763’s?...

787-8 slated too start UPP (United Premium Plus) and Polaris mod June 2019 and should be done by May 2020. 787-9 will begin August 2019, and end August 2020.

First 77W should begin retrofit August 5th for UPP. I believe 2131 willl be the first ship.
