In the 737 Max official website, they say the Max 8 maximum seating is 210 passengers. For me, a GE9X derivative engine would be a far better option for an A350neo than a GEnx-1 based engine. There's is huge thrust difference between the GEnx-1 and the Trent XWB-97.

Citing Neeleman, Ostrower talk about a A220-300 with range beyond 4000 nm featuring an auxiliary fuel tank. Neeleman also said 20 of 60 A220's will have the option.

That is too small for an A380 NLG bay, it actually looks like a A320 series one with the solid FR20 at the same end of the NLG bearing point. As I said it's from an A330. For the A380, you're right, I guess they have to change it. I thought the design was similar to the A330. And it's between frame...

It's not just about cost, it's also about the right size, range. The A220 is almost a perfect fit with the A320neo, I don't think the E2 is a good fit with the Max. In ten years, I think there will be more Boeing Brazil workers on B797 sub-assemblies than on the E2.
