Like many carriers in the 60's and 70's, I loved the milk runs they did with their DC-9's: Los Angeles-Albuquerque-Roswell-Midland/Odessa-Dallas-Houston and on to more cities in Louisiana. They also named each DC-9 for a city they flew to. Albuquerque and Roswell both had DC-9-31's named for them. T...

G4 does LAX-MTJ. Montrose is the gateway for Telluride, CO. I don't know what you would classify Via Air as but they did AUS and MCI to HDN this past winter.

All the ads for 4B, Boutique Air, are currently operating. Looks like just a schedule extension. Not shown: 4B will discontinue the ABQ-ALS flight on May 1 and add a 4th DEN-ALS (which is shown).

Actually they did operate 720B's at DAL in summer 1962. The Aug 24 1962 timetable has them solicited on the front cover. A 720B did a DAL-MAF-ABQ-DEN roundtrip plus probably something else as well. It was only for a short time though, maybe a few months.

Continental 720 or 727

Continental Airlines would typically base their flight numbers on what types of aircraft were operated. In the late 1960's, flight numbers 1-99 indicated Boeing aircraft (707, 720B or 727) while 100 series flight numbers indicated DC-9's. By mid 1967, Continental was operating all DC-9's at ABQ but ...

When G4 added ABQ-AUS 2x per week, WN matched it. Now with F9 adding ABQ-AUS 3x week (on the days WN and G4 don't operate), wonder if WN will make the route daily. Oddly, on the Mar 8 schedule, WN will have the one flight on Fridays and 3 flights on Sundays.
