ORD seems to have an overcapacity problem to China right now Agreed, as does SEA. For a city and combined statistical area not even in the top 10 for the US, SEA has flights to China on DL, HU and MF, plus BR to TPE. It's been asked a couple times here in the BOS forum about whether QR would potentially use a 788 to BOS as it's the perfect size plane for the route, and the general feedback has been that the 788's aren't fitted with the crew rest bunks for ULH flights. Sort of. They use predominantly USA (ATL mostly) crews with 1-2 NRT crew for language speakers. I've flown NRT-SIN & NRT-BKK (until it was operated) and the 777/767 were always ATL based crews with a language based speaker (NRT crew).

why does BOS have no cargo carriers like LH, SN, AF, CI, MU, ANA, EY, etc? I was at ORD and it seems like every airline that flys there also sends dedicated cargo flights there. ATL & MIA also have a ton. Why not BOS?
