Re: AA and DL in BOS as focus city. Is the future uncertain?

To make BOS TATL connections work DL needs to adjust its schedule. For example from IND a connection in BOS is less than ideal because if you are connection to LHR or CDG you have at least a 5-7 hour layover in BOS. JFK makes more sense, because most of the flights from the cities you mentioned onl...

Re: AA and DL in BOS as focus city. Is the future uncertain?

it's an odd hub though, with its extreme NE location and much laeger hub in JFK just 45 minutes away, it sees very little connecting traffic. in fact i can't really think of a routing - BUF CDG? that is plausible. You will find the BOS connections on the 10th page on the fare selection section of m...

AA has been steadily cutting down BOS over the last 6 or 7 years to where almost all of its service is to its hubs. They still have some non-hub flights to DCA, SYR, ROC, PIT and MDT. BUF was just cut and I am guessing it’s only a matter of time before MDT, ROC, PIT and SYR are gone too. Meanwhile ...

SFO is way over served with EK, EY + AI. We've already seen EY scale back to less than daily, now EK rumored to be downgauging to a 777.

QR would be smart to not launch SFO as they won't fill their plane. SFO can't even manage what it has now.
