Fantastic post, thanks for doing it. Is it easy to find out the top 10 markets from a city? For example, the 10 biggest markets from NRT, PVG, PEK, FCO, etc? Sure there is MIDT data for such, but not something I am going to delve into here. Thank you for information. Amazing to see how LHR accounts...Jump to post
Among all, the most surprising for me in those lists is JFK-DXB. Amazing to see them on no.9! Route entered the top 10 back in 2014. Also quite interesting is the fact that Germany ranks 4th infront of China by 2.5mio passengers, but neither FRA nor MUC can be seen in the top10's. Largest US-German...Jump to post
No, DOT excludes Canada in its overseas regional reporting, though Canada is the largest foreign air market 28,449,271 travelers in 2016.
Top few routes were:
LGA-YYZ - 1,389,150
LAX-YVR - 911,592
ORD-YYZ - 887,458
LAX-YYZ - 702,674
SFO-YVR - 699,906
Since this was asked by someone in another thread, figured I would post it directly. With its 6-month reporting lag, the DOT recently published its international passenger and freight statistics for 2016. Here is a summary of compiled info. While you guys are mostly focused on domestic discussion, I could see HA dropping an international city. As we've seen with cuts before (MNL, TPE, FUK, SDJ), not every route works. Just few weeks ago on unrelated project I noticed some HA markets are certainly weaker than others. For example, ICN, B...Jump to post

I dont see Mint at LGB. As far as LAX, B6 has requested up to 3 additional gates.
