Regarding market share, Canadian airlines had 87% and US carriers 13% between the cities.
NYC-YTO is the largest US-Canada city pair.
Some 1,315,852 flew between the cities for the 12-months ending June 2016 with average loadfactor of 77%.
Add in many thousand of connecting passengers that also route via these city pairs, it seems the capacity is inline with demand.
