*AA MIA-RSW DEC 0>0.8 JAN 0>2 FEB 0>2 MAR 0>2 I can't remember when MIA-RSW got cut. Was this when the ATRs were retired from MIA ops? The route stuck around for a bit post-ATR retirement (I think on 145s) but not for terribly long before AA cut it. They brought it back for a a short period (a week...Jump to post

Seasonal add, hopefully it can eventually go year round.
I was asking because we were told by EXPERTS on here that CLT would be shrunk/right-sized The same experts that said PHX would be dehubbed. How is PHX doing now? Hasn’t AA also added some new routes there too? Since the reservations migration AA has reduced seat capacity in and out of PHX by 3%. By...Jump to post
Could MSP get a flight to Panama on Copa or Delta? MSP can use easy connections to Panama and beyond. Where is a flight to Mexico City or Monterrey? The twin cities has a huge and fastly growing Mexican population as well as Brazilian and Argentinan. PTY seems very unlikely on DL. Copa...perhaps, b...Jump to post
I actually travel to LFT and will probably use this service if it is cheap enough. MSP to LFT is usually $500+.Jump to post
USFLyer, Good Morning:: “...way around US sanctions” it is not problem. Cubana may use leased planes a-la-AOM, for instance and nobody will inpound french propierty. As I understand, what Cubana is looking for is RECIPROCITY. : cuban planes flying to US as US’s planes flight to Cuba. Rgds Sounds al...Jump to post
Cubana is a true mess, just like the country. How many jets of each type they have in the fleet... and how many of each type are flying currently? I think this statement is unfair. CU is doing the best they can under most unfortunate circumstances. I think they should partner with DY - gives DY a p...Jump to post
That sounds most unpleasant. I would have insisted that the KE staff in GMP rebook me after the flight was initially delayed by 90 minutes.Jump to post

Sorry but cliches about “endless possibilities” and “out of the box thinking” have led to a weak balance sheet, a dartboard of route planning, a confused fleet and mixed focus, i.e. serving LGW-JFK on DI whilst opening up SWF on D8. Guys this is a classic disruptor going hell for leather for market...Jump to post
I think the growth of JFK to STI is interesting. STI did not even exist 20 years ago and now it has one of the busiest routes between Latolin America and the US.Jump to post
Yes but I don't recall a multi day snafu like this one on WN . And we won't even get into the narrowest seat pitches. Yawn. If these pax cannot take a few hours in Singapore heat how do they make it in Kolkata? USFLYER, Why are you being so aggressive? Have you been to either of these cities? I don't see where I am being aggressive??? I am sure SQ could have been more organized and handled the delay better but I highly ...Jump to post
To me, it sounds like some of the passengers are being drama queens. I am sure it was an unpleasant situation but the hysteria and hyperbole is not credible. If these pax cannot take a few hours in Singapore heat how do they make it in Kolkata?Jump to post
AA can only do a limited amount of upguaging due to a lack of mainline gates at ORD and CLT. Despite CLT being a megahub, AA has less than 50 mainline gates and many of them have size restrictions that make anything larger than A320 problematic.Jump to post
Economically MSP-HND has almost nothing to do with MSP-ICN. They are nearly completely separate traffic flows. MSP-ICN is long overdue. MSP has gone long enough without decent access to broader Asia. Care to cite the PDEWs for MSP-major Asia airports? Would you like to compare them to DTW-same airp...Jump to post

From what I have seen, most of the pax on daytime LHR services are connecting to overnight flights to Asia and Africa - something that is not available in DUB.
High prices have plagued SHV for years. It’s geography doesn’t do it very many favors either. It’s been said up to 50% of passengers leak to other airports if I recall. I go to Shreveport every Nov and I have never flown into SHV. I usually just drive from DFW but have used TXK and GGG if they were...Jump to post

Anyone who thinks this family was not discriminated against is blinded by their privilege. If a traditional white family showed up with a child's passport they would accept it no questions asked. Why? 1) A passport is much more difficult to forge than a birth certificate 2) You have to show the orig...Jump to post
For those here crying about loss of F class and the changes at SY, you do realize the existing model was not working right? This doesn't seem very ULCC esque to me. It actually seems a little like B6 sans the TVs. Not with 30" and 29" seat pitch. It’s still a more generous onboard offering than Allegiant, Frontier, or Spirit. They might be able to find a niche as a slightly premium ULCC of sorts. Basically, th...Jump to post
Flew their -800 with the new seating config and it was horrible. For some reason the -700 was not bad. I'd guess they were not able to cram in an extra row in the -700 they could and allowed for more space between the rows. None of their planes have the new config yet. You probably flew a Transavia...Jump to post
How would they be able to get a hold of C-Series aircraft by October? Obviously, it will be a new Zambian production line. Or they will just steal Delta slots, or Airbus will magically create frames and engines. Because if you are relaunching a 3rd world airline into a poverty stricken country in A...Jump to post
Before I completely condemn the man, I need to know if the great dane had its own seat or not. The former MX staff need to be the like that girl from Frozen and let it go!
They should not still be at the airport protesting MX's demise many years later.

Probably true for the likes of JFK, ORD, LAX and such. But unless QR is planning to add airports like CLE, PIT, CVG and so forth, that does not hold water.
