BWI is such a nice airport. I tend to use WN when I travel into the states from SJO just because it's such a hassle free airport, and I can get into the DC area easily.

December 1999 - SJO-MEX-LAX on LACSA (LR). I was a unaccompanied minor and was told to stay put when we landed at LAX but I made a run for it lol. Can still feel the F/A slapping the back of my head when she found me in the terminal.

I lived under the approach path for LAX for a couple of years when I was 7 and that really got me into liking planes. Next X-Mas my mom got me FS98 and it went from there. My mom would go out of her way to take me to the Inn N Out to see planes take off.

I highly doubt this will last. Central America is already overserved in the local market, and UA (and perhaps eventually WN) will have loads of connections NK won't be able to access. Nonstop carriers will just match NK's pricing and there's not much more NK can do to fill the balance of their seat...

No real hard facts on this but I'm guessing it has to do with the major cargo airlines being based in the US? You got UPS, Fedex, ABX (If that's still around), Atlas, DHL and a more that do a lot of heavy lifting where they might have presence in some of the other countries but not as large.

I don't think paying it would be as bad if needed, but to pay it at MAN? It takes like 15 minutes to go through traffic to actually reach the drop off point. Some people even get out and walk it.
