Pretty sure we had Northwest/KLM branding here at FSM, and until Delta left in 2020 we had Delta/KLM/Air France branding. Pretty confusing for someone who doesn't know why!

A really nice report. Thanks for sharing. I have not flown the 77W NYLON (have done LHR-DFW as AA51 in Y) but it seems like your experience was pretty similar.

FSM (Fort Smith, AR) is another AA-only airport with an economically depressed region. Delta has tried FSM-ATL, but couldn't hang on to it. Now it's just a one-airline airport that could lose service entirely. We had E175 service to DFW as recently as a few months ago. I don't think we'll lose AA. ...

I am concerned about the ratio, already sitting at 50%. Does it affect future uploads? I have learnt a lot in my 14 years of A.net membership, but only have 3 static upload of heli's only. :) Doubt it. I have 488 images on the site and I'm sitting at 56% right now. Don't beat yourself up. Amrit

Vietnam is fairly backlit, unfortunately a no-go. Also has a yellow cast.

I do USM200-300 at 0.2, but I suppose it's personal preference. I think it's up to you if you want to add more sharpening or reduce the size of the image. I generally decide what I want to do based on the general beauty of the shot. If it's a sunny side-on AA 737 I'll reduce the size. But if it's a ...

I agree with Karl in that noise is the biggest (and honestly the only) problem here, though a little sharpening increase wouldn't hurt. Excited to see this shot up on the DB. A great one for sure.

Is there any other correction to adjust softness besides adding more sharpening? Reducing the image size can help. I see this shot is at 1300 wide. Perhaps you might try her out at 1024 or 1200? With that said, I don't think she's substantially soft/blurry. How much USM did you apply to this shot? ...
