I flew out of Vienna recently on Wizz and actually really enjoyed the flight. It was more pleasant than ryanair anyway.

I don’t get levels brand. The geometric shapes and blue and green ‘flag’ logo make me feel nothing.

Was on a TK 77W from LHR this week and the boarding seemed to take forever. Largely because no one could hear the announcements and it was completely free for all, no calling different zones at all. Was a good hour from the first people going through the gate to pushback.

From a purely aviation business perspective, I imagine this can only harm Royal Brunei. If and when a community boycott gets established it's pretty hard to reverse it. I don’t really see the big deal. Yeah I’d be annoyed if I got that seat but I research the seat maps before I fly. Lots of aircraft have rows with missing windows. 737s have a gap in front of the wing for air conditioning ducts. 787 has a windowless row towards the rear where two barrels join up.

I believe the 744 had multiple system issues on introduction. It’s been a while since I read it, but the captain of QF32 talks about some of it in his book.

That recline system looks like it could be a winner. From those who haven’t watched the video, it’s not a fixed shell seat like the one CX quickly replaced, but the knee and tray table area is fixed whilst the rest of the seat reclines around it.
