The newest A220, N3115J, entered service this week. That makes it 13 active in the fleet. The 14th, N3118J is in Jacksonville right now being readied for service sometime in January.

Took nearly 20 years after the introduction of the type, but the CRJ-900 will finally fly in UAX colors. She should look good in EvoBlue, that livery suits longer fuselage aircraft well.

Would be awesome if they felt they could justify flying their larger A330-300 to SAN, but if they do come, I'd expect the A330-200 to start. Either way, would be nice to see the big green in SD!

UA has done similar upgauges out here on the West Coast during the summer, with routes like SFO-MFR/SMF/FAT and LAX-SAN seeing 737-800s and -900s during the summer. Not completely surprised to see them doing similar upgauges on >500 mile routes from EWR as well in anticipation of the holiday rush.

Didn't the majors park 727s quickly after 9/11? I recall DL phasing out 727, L1011, 733 (glass and non-glass) 732 all in short order. DL kept the 732's til around 2005 and the 733's til around then as well...maybe into 06. Actually the opposite. The 733s were retired before the 732s! The -200s last...

Essaouira Airport in Morocco has flights only to ORY, CRL, and LTN. No scheduled flights to any cities in Morocco, not even CMN surprisingly.
