It seems like the corporate jet problem isn't exclusive to the USA. Apparently Amsterdam tried recently to ban corporate jets from its airport. The attempt failed - but the related problems remain.

Ok - so while pulling the VFR move isn't technically a dodge - it can exacerbate an already bad situation. Either way - it adds to the need for some type of organized flight restriction into an airport like PBI or HPN during peak demand - when that demand is clearly greater than what the airport can...

Patriots Plane in Palm Beach

The New England Patriots 767 flew into PBI from PVD yesterday. The Patriots are training at Palm Beach Atlantic College this week prior to their game against the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 11. Normally they would land at FLL. I read they came down early to be better prepared for the heat.

Are there other factors in play when it comes to the lack of Europe service to JAX and PBI - I'm sure there are. But total passengers isn't enough on it's own to differentiate the three.

I must be reading numbers wrong, because in 2020, I read PBI and JAX with both around 3.2 million each and RSW at 4.6 million - less than 1.5 million more. And in 2021, I read RSW at roughly 5million total, with JAX and PBI at 3.4 and 3.5 million - approximately the same difference as previous years...
