Boeing has quietly removed the OEW and Max payload data from the latest 787 (and 737 MAX) ACAPs. Not sure why they are doing this.

Re: 787 Production/Delivery Thread - 2018

I was looking at Singapore Airlines 787-10 seat map. Seatguru says the economy seats have a width of 19 inches and a 32 inch pitch. United’s 787-9’s seats have the same pitch but a width of 17.3 inches. How does Singapore do that? How narrow are the aisles? They are actually 18 inches on the 787-10...

Re: Singapore Airlines 787-10 configuration revealed, first routes SIN-BKK, KUL and KIX

So it’s possible still to fit 3-3-3 Y 18 inch seats into a Dreamliner? Could it be that Boeing made some changes to 787-10 to make it possible? It was always possible. No changes to the aircraft are necessary. Twelve 1.5 inch armrests, nine 18 inch seats and two 17.5 inch aisles, pretty much the sa...

Re: Singapore Airlines 787-10 configuration revealed, first routes SIN-BKK, KUL and KIX

Saw this posted on RGN today, thought I'd share: A Singapore Airlines spokesman says, “ Economy seat width is 18 ”. Business is 20” and up to 26” with armrests lowered. Economy seat pitch is 32” [and] 44” in Business.” However, RGN has sought additional colour on how an 18″ width was achieved in Eco...

They did. They added 4 inches of width. So the 777X will have the same seat width as the 787 at 10 abreast.

Thank you for that reply. Looking at Airbus' performance data for the two types: Max zero fuel weight, 175.70T for the 359, 181T for the A339 Max fuel capacity, 141Kl, 139.09Kl range, 15Km, 12.13Km we see that the 359 is a lighter plane that flies a lot farther on very minimally more fuel. ACAPS payload range for the 789 says 3t payload at 9200nm :-) ....which is probably why that graphic isn't showing it at 9200nm. ;) Seems to me the 789 is at around 9200nm in the graphic. What are we missing that you are seeing? The fact that it says SM and not NM in brackets at the bottom?

Thanks for the responses. I guess it just shows how good ANA is. For slightly more cost they go 2-4-3 (9 abreast in B777) and keep 2-4-2 (8 abreast in B787). ANA has no more 8-abreast 787s.
