can anyone help please? Thx
Any updates on the first EVA Air 789? News last time was that it was loaded into FAL. I thought EVA Air’s going straight to the 78X. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro They have the 787-10 on direct order, but are taking some -9s on lease, with the first one LN722 currently in final assembly at C...Jump to post

Do we finally have a published OEW value for the 7810?
ANU is scheduled to get its first 787 service today from Neos. NO732 from Milan should arrive at around 3pm and depart at 4:35pm to La Romana.
Also included in the April sales activity was one undisclosed customer’s order for 22 A319neo versions and five A319ceo aircraft

I didn't think you could have 18"-wide seats at 9 abreast. I'm pretty sure it's 17.5"
I was looking at Singapore Airlines 787-10 seat map. Seatguru says the economy seats have a width of 19 inches and a 32 inch pitch. United’s 787-9’s seats have the same pitch but a width of 17.3 inches. How does Singapore do that? How narrow are the aisles? They are actually 18 inches on the 787-10...Jump to post
So it’s possible still to fit 3-3-3 Y 18 inch seats into a Dreamliner? Could it be that Boeing made some changes to 787-10 to make it possible? It was always possible. No changes to the aircraft are necessary. Twelve 1.5 inch armrests, nine 18 inch seats and two 17.5 inch aisles, pretty much the sa...Jump to post
Saw this posted on RGN today, thought I'd share: A Singapore Airlines spokesman says, “ Economy seat width is 18 ”. Business is 20” and up to 26” with armrests lowered. Economy seat pitch is 32” [and] 44” in Business.” However, RGN has sought additional colour on how an 18″ width was achieved in Eco...Jump to post
Sorry I didn't write that correctly. The 777X at 10 abreast will have the same seat width as the 787 at 9 abreastJump to post

someone correct me if I am wrong here but I thought Boeing reduced some space in the frames/sidewall etc to allow for 3-4-3 at a more comfortable width?

781? That doesn't look or sound appropriate.

Thank you for that reply. Looking at Airbus' performance data for the two types: Max zero fuel weight, 175.70T for the 359, 181T for the A339 Max fuel capacity, 141Kl, 139.09Kl range, 15Km, 12.13Km we see that the 359 is a lighter plane that flies a lot farther on very minimally more fuel. New Boeing 787 ACAP now available:
http://www.boeing.com/resources/boeingd ... ps/787.pdf
ACAPS payload range for the 789 says 3t payload at 9200nm :-) ....which is probably why that graphic isn't showing it at 9200nm. ;) Seems to me the 789 is at around 9200nm in the graphic. What are we missing that you are seeing? The fact that it says SM and not NM in brackets at the bottom?Jump to post
They are going to come from China Easterns 787 order. Seeing as the delivery date is June this year.Jump to post

Thanks for the responses. I guess it just shows how good ANA is. For slightly more cost they go 2-4-3 (9 abreast in B777) and keep 2-4-2 (8 abreast in B787). ANA has no more 8-abreast 787s. They're all 3-3-3. Also, JAL has most of their international 772ERs in a 3-4-2 config. JAL also have 2-4-2 B7...Jump to post
Alaska just posted a photo of two A321neos in a paint hangar. Both have been painted in the More to Love livery. http://www.instagram.com/p/BfPWMvVhZKU/ I think that is a mirror, not a 2nd plane. Photoshop maybe, but definitely not a mirror. I like the scheme though so I hope it's applied on two pl...Jump to post
I thought MSN7877 was just a normal A321neo with just a different door configuration. Unsurprisingly, im not the only one that thought so: Very strange. 26 days ago Airbus told me (after I sought clarification) that this wasn’t the A321LR. It doesn’t have the 97t MTOW or the 3rd aux fuel tank. It’s...Jump to post

First 787-9 For Neos in full livery:
Thanks for reminding us. Going up to 14 a month makes a lot more sense once Boeing knew they'd get a deal from Emirates. 2017 has been a good sales year for the 787. Prior to this order, 83 per Wikipedia (not yet with Emirates order, again as Boeing made it sound like a conditional order that the S...Jump to post
