No one is saying Nyerere was a saint. However, he did stand down as President without the Army stepping in, leaving the country to enter its free market era — as imposed by structural adjustment under the IMF and World Bank – under the leadership of his hand-picked successor. Nyerere was also instru...Jump to post
How do you slot planes going that fast into conventional air traffic.Jump to post
The article indicates several options. A smuggling flight seems unlikely. Firstly flying in daylight. Secondly the F15 could not catch it. Hard to believe that the smugglers are that good or NORAD that bad. The NT43A makes more sense if NORAD did not WANT to catch it,the T43A could also use jamming....Jump to post
I think I would spectate from a safe distance.
Things could get nasty.
Having read the links, it is not clear at what point a complaint was made about the conduct of the other passenger. Unless the crew were told and did not act, it is hard to see how the crew could be accused, (they are potential witnesses). The involvement of the plaintiffs father sounds grossly impr...Jump to post
I know that Smartlynx took their plane back, are you sure about AIr Malta.
My understanding is G-ZBAR is still at SNN.
It is low season I’ve there now and I see no reason why they would be rushing to claim it.
According to Wikipedia the fuel capacity of a B737-300 is 5,311US Gallons.

Looking at their website.
Earliest flight is 0650, with the last at 2125.
Looking at the ARJ, (the loudest type) the first is 0709 and the last is at2005.
Lack of night lights does help.
Also when it opened it was a poor area, (this does help as well).
So they want more skyscrapers instead.Jump to post

Depends HOW big surely.
People who are really obese clearly move and react more slowly. You can see that in the street.
Also consider the internal dimensions of an airliner.
I can see the C130 and 2 C17, there also seems to be an aircraft about half the size of a C17, with a T tail and twin engines on the tail.
Is that a biz jet.
The former ZK-DES, (latterly 5Y-CHD).
I think this was to be scrapped at Southend in August.
On point 3. I assume you exclude FR.
However MOL did say he raped Boeing.
IMO, pilot pay will always be affected by aircraft size. The revenue capacity of a CRJ will always be less than a WB. Also if CRJ become too expensive then people will not fly. In that case, you lose the CRJ flight with no corresponding increase in mainline. The issue is will pilots accept a B scale...Jump to post
Saw G-OZBX, G-ZBAS, G-MARA and G-OJEG at LTN on the 6th. All were in normal markings.
Also G-ZBAU at EGBP on 7th.
I see they acquired an A321 this year.
Plenty more going cheap, and ZB pilots to go with them.
Perhaps the fallout of leaving all these people stranded would cost more in the long term.
Both politically and commercially.
Do you have details.
Iirc they are all leased.Jump to post
Not clear which part of their fleet would be LH.Jump to post
I have only flown FR three times, NOC twice and MLA once.
The service is not that bad.
The scary thing is that if the DUP dump the govt leading to another election, then Corbyn could be the next PM.Jump to post
Good news that these planes have a new home.
Takes a big chunk out of any ideas of any thoughts of AB LH continuing.
If animals being present was life threatening, why was she struggling to NOT get off the plane.
I call BS.
