Re: Delta shifting SkyWest flights to LGA

There are E170LRs in the DL Dba fleet aside from the regular E175. Compass had operated a few that came from Virgin Australia based out of MSP. They were 70 seaters but they had long since been transferred to one of the DL Dba carriers in the E Coast. From the looks of it to Republic. These planes d...

Re: Daniel K. Inouye (Honolulu) Airport to get new $1.1 billion concourse

They should've started updating HNL Interantional Airport first before that lousy overbudgeted monorail project, that's all I have to say about this. This is good, as HNL looks very outdated for a world class tourist destination and the main airport for the Hawaiian Islands. Hopefully it will improv...

Re: Delta C Series Predictions

While there is no official statement from Delta that the C series are direct replacement of their 717s , it’s quite obvious that would be the case if the C Series are going to be based in LAX, where currently the 7171s are stationed. I would expect them to use the C series to replace those 717 route...

Re: Philippine Airlines to get new visual identity

Is there a reason why they've used "Philippines" rather than "Philippine" when painting their planes? It's a country made up of more than 1 island, ~7,000+ islands, and it is very much diverse in culture, ethnic groups, and languages. So it makes so to call it The Philippines (p...

Re: DL Future Expansion

I'm surprised that DL hasn't muscled a little more presence in LAS. Even UA and AA have bigger presence in LAS than DL. I guess maybe it's because SLC and LAX hub is close by, but still. I think they can at least add more flights directly in and out of LAS, even if it's seasonal like LAS-HNL(I do be...

Re: Embraer Hopes Pinned on New Scope Clause in 2019-22

This scope clause seemed to be the heated issue with Delta when at first it said they were looking at the E190/195, but then retracted and got the CS100 instead. Delta is the one that seems to be leading the other major US carriers in this shift from "regional", returning the flying back t...

Re: Delta future routes from Seattle

Considering that DL already has a station at MNL, wouldn't it be a possibility once the IAF at SEA is finished?..... http://www.gcmap.com/map?P=SEA-MNL&MS=wls&MR=600&MX=720x360&PM=* http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=SEA-MNL&MS=wls&DU=nm I was wondering what are DL's plans for it'...

Re: Delta CEO / Upcoming NB order comments...

Delta (mainline) has always preferred to do it's own flying. It's former CEO had stated that a while back. We see that clearly here and how they are ordering aircrafts and how this decision is also affecting the regional contractors that operate as Delta Connection. They are focusing more domestical...
