I It is also highlighted on the flight crew walk around. Anyone who does a walk around and doesn’t catch the cowls being unlatched is not doing their job. AZO proposes $40M project to extend runway

AZO wants to extend RWY 17/35 by 1150 ft, adding 1000 ft to the south end, and 150 ft to the north end. 17/35 is currently 6502 ft. The extension would make it 7652 ft. Frontier is adding GRR-DFW in a large expansion for them. Frequency and start date haven't been announced. I'd imagine it will start in May or June and fly 3 times a week. Hawaiian flies to both JFK and BOS on the US east coast from HNL, not IAD. Hawaiian is not going out of business- they may be acquired by Alaska Airlines but would still operate separately as Hawaiian.

Didn’t seem that bad to me…not sure what the fuss is about What video did you watch? What I saw was a 77W bounce the mains off the runway followed by the nose gear slamming into the runway and bouncing off then the mains make contact again with the runway. Was it a hard landing I don't know but see...

Not scheduled, but National Airlines has a passenger A332 they often operate domestically within the US. They're currently doing a bunch of football charters for bowl games.

I am very familiar with the area. All I can say is good luck. MCO is 30 miles away. TPA is about 50. SFB to Disney is around 45 miles, LAL to Disney is pretty much the same miles. SFB seems to work well for those airlines that use it for Orlando area vacation packages, I think LAL could as well.

I noticed HA50 HNL-JFK divereted to ORD this morning 30-Nov. A/C is currently still at ORD. ** EDIT** HA50 just departed ORD for JFK at 0730 local- on the ground at ORD for almost 2 and a half hours.

Wondering what that was about. Medical? Mechanical? Passenger disruption?

Here is a video of a RAT test landing of a 787. It definitely does have a propeller sound from behind, after it passes the camera. And with the engines near idle. That's consistent with the OP's description. I didn't think it would be so prominent relative to the engine noise, but it definitely is....
