An interesting visitor in GRR this morning- a FedEx 763 parked on their ramp along with the usual two A300s. Came in from DTW as FDX1579 which is normally only MEM-DTW. I don't see any outbound listed yet. I'm wondering if it's here for ramp training for future 763 service at GRR or is it just for e...
Jump to postI It is also highlighted on the flight crew walk around. Anyone who does a walk around and doesn’t catch the cowls being unlatched is not doing their job. Nice to see someone look after them.
AZO wants to extend RWY 17/35 by 1150 ft, adding 1000 ft to the south end, and 150 ft to the north end. 17/35 is currently 6502 ft. The extension would make it 7652 ft. Long overdue IMO. https://www.fox17online.com/news/local-news/kzoo-bc/kalamazoo/kalamazoo-battle-creek-airport-proposes-40m-project...

May i inquire as to what you've seen that says its a bust? There's literally a handful of international arrivals -- a few charter flights that operate for a few weeks, and a few more that operate during MSU spring break. DTW handles more than that in a day, and its FIS is equally underutilized. Do ...
