Ugh. Makes me dizzy and nauseous watching that. I thought protocol was to have a second line attached to one of the ends of the rescue basket held either by someone on the ground, or in the 'copter to prevent this from happening.

People Express operated the 737-100. Planespotters.net shows they had 17 in operation and it appears they all came from LH. They eventually became part of the CO fleet with some wearing the blue tail gold globe scheme:

I would love for them to come back. Considering that they no longer fly 1900s out of YYZ, they would need at least a Q100. I believe Omaha and Hartford are the smallest destinations in terms of metro area flown by AC from YYZ right now. GRR is slightly bigger than Omaha and closer to YYZ, so maybe....

I was in the USVI few years ago and while leaving from STT, the immigration officer specifically asked if I had visited the BVI during my stay.....as noted above, it is really very easy to slip across from the BVI to the USVI.... I see a lot of talk about better remote telemetry or in-cabin video or whatever, but why not just a virtual pilot? Over the coming years, you will have very capable (low latency, high bandwidth) LEO satellite-based internet. This is the idea behind self-drive cars that if they get "stuck"...

I don't see the hinge area, but if you look closely, you can see some rectangular "dimples" between the R and the I which is part of the cargo door. Also some "dots" extending below and between the R and the E.
