While the terminal does look crowded, it still has a cool local vibe to it as well as a bit of class harkening back to when people dressed up to fly. Hopefully the new terminal will have “local flavor” rather than just a cookie cutter look to it. Nice report and video.

ATL, VPS confirmed. They are bookable on their site. One wonders if DL will choose to respond with a CRJ to HVN. That is, if the infrastructure can support it. Could DL be bothered operating expensive to operate CRJs to HVN to compete with Avelo tariff to ATL and other XP cities? Do"t think so...

DL in HVN is not happening. There's no space in the terminal or ramp. Avelo will have 5-6 planes on the ramp on most days with departures between 630-9 and early morning turns. There's going to be 2-630 and 2-730 departures btw. I think DL in HVN pairs perfectly with Avelo and would love for it to ...

New Haven (HVN). There is absolutely no way any more passengers can be stuffed through there on any given day. The green light to finally build a new terminal has been given. There are some gaps in the late AM and mid-late afternoon Avelo flights. DL with E-175's could do 2 daily HVN-ATL flights.76...

As long as it’s clean, safe, and offers basic comfort, I’m fine with whatever aircraft is assigned to my flight. I do cringe at the sight of a CRJ-200 or an ERJ-145 though. I truly wish the L-1011’s were still around….those were fantastic.

United did for a short while after they received some L-1011-500’s from Pan Am as part of the Pacific division purchase.

Eastern operated all four of the original wide bodies…747, L-1011, DC-10, and A300.
