Someone enlighten me....why do they punish their top carrier (WN), who presumably brings them the most revenue etc., but keeps reducing their slot count each year? Seems to me the process is too arbitrary.

Delta Airlines (PDX-CDG) If Indianapolis can get a IND-CDG (Paris, France) route, then I think that DL could make the route work very well for PDX (with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft).
