Also IIRC , there was a joint maintenance program between several European operators of the DC10.
KLM / SR / SN / SK / AY....
Not sure I've got the airlines 100% but pretty damn close....
Maybe someone can clarify for me...?
9K-ADE , although it has a main deck cargo door, was never used as a combi. Was always the Emir's aircraft as noted by DABYT. When the 748i was delivered, the 744M was supposed to be reconfigured into all pax layout, removing the mid section hospital and upper deck suite/shower /boardroom etc. Other...Jump to post

There is an airport between Phoenix and Tucson that used to allow escorted fans into the boneyard, by prior arrangement.
Can't recall which one it is.
Any idea if/when the Dornier 328s will receive the new colours? I am flying STN-DND and back in November and was hoping to get a few shots of the new livery. I don't live in Scotland anymore so Loganair aircraft are a bit of a rarity for me! Last I heard , all the Dorniers were offered for sale. Un...Jump to post

I think there needs to be some enlightenment on this thread. The crew involved in this dispute are dealing with a company that will not negotiate, despite saying that they want to bring this dispute to close; they are not asking for something that is unreasonable, they are asking for a living wage;...Jump to post
Guys a lot of you are chipping in with your world view on striking, with a certain US centric mentality. Let's focus on the specifics here. Mixed Fleet was set up to have younger people doing an existing job at a fraction of the price. To do so, BA had to break the Left Wing mentality at cabin crew...Jump to post
Although of course Canary Wharf has its own station on Crossrail, and the Crossrail station at Liverpool Street is probably just as convenient for many people in the City financial district, which extends all round it, as Bank. LCY in general isn't under threat from Crossrail, but BA001/002 is. Wit...Jump to post
Heard a little rumour the other day......
Many Heathrow Express staff are leaving to join Crossrail...(better pay)...
And as you know, Crossrail has no LHR service....but same little mouse told me that maybe Crossrail will buy out Heathrow Express.???
"NB" has been at LHR since last weekend, albeit in an all white scheme. I suspect it is because if BA need it very quickly , they can use the relevant Qualified BA flight crew from LHR as per usual. I also wonder if "NB" was STN based whether Titan would have the relevant crew to...Jump to post

Has CPH lost some routes or carrier that explains the decline? All other airports continue to sustain growth, with KEF the obvious leader. The reason for CPH not following the general trend is mainly the train station in the basement, which used to be a very convenient facility, but overnight was m...Jump to post

Last I heard ,(about a month ago) was that it very well may be converted into BA's Euro traveller layout.. And the other option mentioned was to keep as is, to be used for corporate contracts and as back up for 'NB. No decision made yet.... Was also told, it handles differently to their 319/320/321 ...Jump to post
June 2010, Delta were selling a one off NRT-SEA flight on a 757. My good buddy and I ,Cedarjet, flew out from LHR on a NH773, arriving at NRT approx. 3 hours before the Scheduled NRT-SEA DL 757. The trouble became apparent when we walked up to the DL desk to check in for the flight, only to be told ...Jump to post

Congrats on the left seat... and congrats on a great TR.
Very well done sir.
TBL tugs do not require a man onboard to cover the brakes, as there is no bar/shear pin to break, Andy the aircraft nose gear is actually off the ground.
Conventional tugs do., ... just in case the pin shears.
