Re: British Airways announce S19 flights from LHR to Bastia and Preveza

The vast majority of these flights are at weekends using the spare capacity released by fewer 'business' destinations at weekends. BA does/originally did these flights for one particular travel agent (Mark Warner I think), so presumably they decide where they want the flights to go.

Kuwait Airways expects the deliveries to take place between March 2019 and the end of 2026, the Gulf carrier said on its Twitter account.

The deferral of 40 x 737max would have merited its own thread were there no 787 order!! Sure, but in the great scheme of things they already operate 300+ 738 CEO and aren't deferring the first 60 738 MAX so it does get lost in the wake of the massive 787 order. Before this order was placed AA had 58 options for the 787. Assuming that they have converted 47 options into firm orders there is 11 left. There was another 28 options added to this order so there should be a total of 39 options in total left. For more refer to http://nyc787.blogspot.com.au/ -----...

Yes, the A338 will become a niche aircraft because airlines will only buy it if no other aircraft in the market will meet their requirements. So the A338 is for airlines that need the ultra long range or long range mid sized capacity. Why is having a niche aircraft a good thing when the B788 pretty...
