I don’t see how much they can grow given the gate constraints. And on top of that, the aggressive fare matching by ua really makes their ewr station not that profitable. UA, B6 or WN can agressively match the fares etc, and in the short term it works, but in the long run as a lot of these new route...

I avoid WN whenever possible and will continue to do so. Still a great many places they don't fly. Not a fan of their operational performance. Yes, but also, these airports tend to be in places where strong crosswinds are relatively uncommon. LAX’s “odd” winds are Santa Ana winds, almost straight down the 6s and 7s.

I still believe CI will not bother with any new east coast destinations. They even wanted to drop JFK at one point citing it only makes profit 2 out of 12 months. Agreed. WN needs to focus on making BNA their flagship station in the southeast. It makes no sense trying to build up ATL because of the humongous DL hub. I would maintain what they have at ATL, but focus all future growth (especially in connections) in the southeast at BNA. I believe the expansion...
