Speaking of BA’s 744’s, their dispatch reliability must be bad. My wife’s plane was 3 hours late on November 4 and flightaware indicates several flights similarly delayed. I don’t seem to recall their 777W being delayed like this.

But yes the 744’s are premium heavy. And packed to the gills!

I miss Mendis and MrNiji. However, a lot of the others I am glad they are gone and long gone.

I never did like "milk routes" as a kid, and for those you didn't fly one of them, you didn't miss anything but tiredness and annoyance.

I once flew DFW-JFK-CAI-KWI-BOM-MAA.
It sucked and I felt three times as jet lagged and tired as DFW-LHR-MAA in modern times.

The biggest problem with older AA 757 and 763's is not the lack of PTV, it is the old cigarette lighter power slots and on some, no wifi.

If you have wifi and USB power, you don't need any airline PTV.
