DL is adding a second daily R/T between SEA and AUS in October on an A319. TBH, I wonder whether this is more reflective of DL's ambitions in Austin than in Seattle. What ambition is that in which DL has in AUS? All I see are hub and focus city routes... what's the implication DL has to fly any P2P...

Looks like over the Christmas/New Years holiday weeks, DL will return the RDU-RSW flight on a CR9... add in the SJU 3 Saturday flight during that timeframe.. it's nice.. ready for a new station announcement though... SAN or MCI have to be around the corner...

I too thought RDU was supposed to be at or around the 100 flight status. They have the space to expand to that status with their current move. I believe there are a few more gates open on the D Concourse... hub status would just mean Delta would be offering more connections from the flight being sen...

Looks like Delta might be testing SJU.... Sat only service on Dec 23, 30, and Jan 6.. 738 aircraft.... last year 2016 it was LAS.. this year 2017 SJU.. year before 2015 it was NAS... thoughts?

Agreed. WN has been stagnant.. any add comes with a subtraction... it's pretty much a wash... I would agree with Rafale on his guesses... I'm shocked! Shocked I say that SFO was added before another SEA but I guess that was VX and not AS. I would have thought AS would have grown by now...

I think AA is tapped out as far as where else to go. BOS is the only logical choice but with no action yet and DL and B6 having the go to service... they probably just say we are good. Same for UA. WN is retrenching every time they put a schedule out. F9 seems to be willing to do some routes.. G4 is...

Delta did just upgrade to widebody CDG.. and still has BNA and SEA to start... and they are having decent results at RDU, I think... we shall see... there are little inklings of future routes stated up here.. I am wondering what's next? Was hoping some JV or interline partners would come but so far,...

To note, DY doesn't even receive their 321NEO until 2019... and I don't see them flying TATL until 2020/2021... in addition, that other thread seems to be looking at LGW.. but I don't see that mentioned.. Just for S& G, let's suppose DL decides the RDU-CDG is a success after the subsidy period runs out and wants to up the game. What's the most likely scenario... 2nd daily CDG or new daily AMS? Assuming no upgauge performed from 763..

I think SAN is in the future... less than a year away on AS unless DL pulls it first. MCI has to be within 3-6 months... the best option for BUF is Allegiant...

RDU-LHR typically has lower loads in the winter... as do most TATL flights.. but it still operates year round for a reason. I'm sure if it was too low and not making money, AA would find a way to suspend it but they haven't so I would assume it's still making plenty of profit for AA...

From what I recall, Copa would make the most sense as the largest South American traffic comes from Panama City, for some reason. This does not Uncle Mexico (its North American).
