Does anyone have any idea how Cubana crews these aircraft? Or where they do training? Are the Flight Attendants and Pilots Cuban nationals or do they source crews from other countries? I know the Plus Ultra lease is staffed with PU Spanish crews.
Jump to postOnly FA bases and quite a few of the Flight Attendants are still with Delta today.
Jump to postWhen trying to book any flights after October 1st, they’re all unavailable and say, “Our normal flights today have been canceled. Please try a different day.” I remember they waited until the last minute to load flights for the rest of the year, but eventually they did. Now they’re gone. What’s up?
Jump to postI’ve heard through the rumor mills that they’re planning on working with the LIRR to make one stop train-plane service from ISP to HND via JFK.

Jump to postDidn’t Eastern recently purchase Hillwood Airways? Some 737 charter company in Dallas. Any updates on that?
Jump to postMakes sense. Delta has a seasonal Flight Attendant base in Raleigh Durham from April to October. Hence why the base is seasonal.
Jump to postA lot of the 767-300’s have the updated Delta One product (minus suite doors). These aircraft also have the Delta Premium Select cabin, along with Comfort+ and Main Cabin.
Jump to postDoes anyone have experience working for a start-up like this? How many pilots and flight attendants do they have employed and where do they find the money to pay them? Crew are paid hourly but with almost zero hours of flying, how is this handled?
Jump to postAnyone mind explaining what a “shimmy damper malfunction” means for those of us without the technical knowledge? Sure! So the landing gear on a 737, as well as many aircraft, have a shock strut design. It basically acts as a giant shock absorber. There is a large cylinder attached to the airplane s...
Jump to postVlogger Noel Philips was on MIA-SDQ today with photos in his Facebook and Instagram stories. It looks like there were about three people on the entire flight. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk Thanks for sharing. Just went over to instagram to look. Literally 3 pax, him & his travel companio...

Jump to postI do. Although I’m convinced that this is the reason why I had appendicitis only after 2 weeks of living in the Middle East and drinking that tap water.
Jump to postI’ve heard some rumblings about Kam Air joining the ranks of Oneworld.

Jump to postCarnival Airlines. 737-200, 737-300, 727, A300. Interesting little airline! Flew to places like JFK, EWR, ISP, FLL, MIA, PBI, TPA, MCO, SJU, LAX.
Jump to postLooks like they purposely avoided flying over land on the way back?
Jump to post3 crew members were onboard - 2 pilots and 1 flight attendant. It was the flight attendant’s first flight. RIP.
Jump to postRandom question. I flew AA 100 JFK-LHR last week (11/24) and we departed from 31L. I have departed from that runway hundreds of times and am very accustomed to the typical left hand turn after departure where you circle around and then continue the climb. Immediately we departed, we experienced a fe...
Jump to post[photoid][/photoid] Quick question about HPN's history. I have a recollection from several years ago of Continental operating a scheduled service to EWR. It seemed to be an afternoon rotation timed for passengers connecting with their international flights. Does anybody else have memories of that? I...

Jump to postDoes CX still have their cabin crew bases in North America? I believe they have (had?) JFK, SFO, LAX & YVR.
Jump to postMy bet is for JetBlue or Spirit. I think if it were Breeze, other airports would be making an announcement for new service as Breeze said they would be doing it in waves.
Jump to postFor example, the survivors on United 232 or Delta 191 or any other crash that people survive. Does the airline give any type of discount, or free traavel to the survivors to fly their airline in the future in these cases? I'm surprised NK hasn't returned to SAT yet. One of the very few domestic destinations they left and haven't (yet) returned to!
Avatar and Midwest Express (both USA) shouldn’t be on this list. Midwest Express already had a go at flying with Elite Airways in 2019/2020 and as for Avatar... I think we all know that’s a joke.
Jump to postThey had 1 or 2 757’s painted in their livery in OPF (Opa Locka, Miami, FL) for quite a long time. It’s been a while since I’ve flown through there so I’m not sure what the status of the aircraft are.

Jump to postEssentially someone can do what Jet Airways did in BRU... right? They had that scissor hub in Brussels where all of their flights from India arrived at the same time and all of their North America departures left at the same time.

Jump to postAny word on what the Miami Dolphins will be using? They were often to be seen on the Miami Air B737-800s, usually two at a time. Jump to postDoes anyone understand how the crewing works for this? Are their pilots American? It seems like most of their flight attendants are Guyanese and based in Guayana (obviously).
Jump to postSilver dropping Tampa? And Seabourne dropping San Juan? Don’t both of these airlines have bases and a large presence at these airports?
Jump to postSlightly off topic but EY has started firing hundreds of cabin crew. They are firing those who live outside of company housing (those crew get allowance so EY doesn’t want to pay for that anymore) and those who are from countries that have upcoming repatriation flights.
