Re: The private pilot?

Typically the aircraft will stay with the vip, but it can be up to the pilots whether they want to get a room and stay as well, but generally they would not be attending any od the same events as the vip. They may just offer say $800 for flights to and from home, but typically no more.

Re: Aeroperu crash question for pilots

The airspeed would have indicated fairly accurately during takeoff, until they started to climb. Then the change in pressure would have also changed the airspeed, with the altimeter being useless. Hope that helps.

By the way this is a failure you can simulate in x-plane.

Just saw this pic on the homepage under Photograpers' Choice. It looks great, but is it real? What are the lines radiating out across the water? A Photoshop radial filter? The reflection looks suspiciously perfect, not a sign of a ripple or distortion, which would be very unusual: https://i.imgur.c...

The equipment provided by the provider will never sustain speeds higher than 50-75. You need enterprise equipment like a ubiquiti access point. I've installed systems like this in wifi intensive homes, I've always disabled the onboard wifi, and I provide wifi with dedicated access points.

I'll take a stab at it, I've been on xp since v9..... 1. Since that aircraft doesn't have a "typical" GA GPS, yes you need to use the FMS, not really difficult, except it is likely not working right since v11 is beta. 2. BETA 3. This is one of those differences in xplane mentality, it does...

I own and have used both.....FSX isn't nearly as realistic for a real pilot. The beta of xplane 11 is looking really promising. There is also talk of native vr coming. That will end the debate, even though fly inside already works.

Since I mentioned it, the oculus is fantastic in xplane 11.

Yes, I recently rebuilt my home sim with Oculus Rift and flyinside. If you haven't tried it, you should before you build. You do sit in the cockpit, and its much more realistic than you would expect.
