Re: MH to place order for 25 widebodies by end of 2017

If by some chance (hey they brought back the 744) they decided to bring back the 772, I'd only hope they'd repaint it into the new livery. Anytime I look at their 772s, I can't help but feel sad and think about the two accidents.

There are 7 -300s left with the 137 seating. These are the oldest -300s in the fleet.

ALL of the -700s are the same seat model so the comfort should be the same.

The -700s with scimitars are the following:

N969WN
N555LV
N7744A
N7748A
N267WN

There are likely more. One other thing to note, it's likely these are being done when the aircraft is on its 6Y,8Y, etc checks which are in between painting intervals. WN planes get paint every 6-7 years.

There are only two A/C in the gold livery. N711HK and N714CB. 711 recently got repainted into its classic colors, 792 is flying around in the Heart Livery. I am not too sure 8301 will remain in the Spirit livery, but I could be wrong.. N943WN will be the new California One.

A/C 697 was the -300 involved in the TACA incident, as usflyguy stated its likely to be retired in December.

With regards to the future of the newer -300s, I'd imagine they will likely be good candidates for a freighter conversion.
