Why would DL want to come back to ISP and operate out of the same hole in the wall they did 15 years ago? If they wanted to come back, they would have brokered a deal with Southwest to use one of its gates... They haven’t.. The only Delta metal you’ll ever see at ISP is a charter or a diversion.. D...

You post and ask 1000 questions about ISP.. If you live in the ISP area (which i assume you do) you should know that it’s a forgotten airport... WN seems to be doing just fine, Ive heard of stories of F9 pissing people off, and AA operates out of a hole in the wall.. I seriously doubt any of the leg...

They even denied giving up gates A2-A4 to Frontier which they don't even use anymore. For F9 to use the WN gates, they'd have to pay WN. Flap canoe paint was what signified the different plane types with the "Spirit" colors. With the current livery, there's a "300, 700, 800, MAX8" right past the nose cone. This is the same spot where UA and DL put their fleet types as well. As far as engine paint, WN has been pain...

I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the -300s make their way onto new homes.. The N6** birds, particularly the newer ones are prime candidates for 2nd-3rd tier carriers and freighters.

There are many routes in the WN system that are a bit more than 5hours, and people survive. Hawaii wouldn't be any different. From what I understand the 737MAX Isn't ETOPS certified yet. Perhaps WN will play a role in making that happen?

Why are people complaining? AA at least kept it around, and in bare metal too! They could have just as easily repainted both planes in the MURICA livery and called it a day.. On center, off center, no matter what it stands out at any airport.

The -300s can be found anywhere throughout the system. As for the 3 gold -700s, there are only two left now. 792 was repainted in December.

If by some chance (hey they brought back the 744) they decided to bring back the 772, I'd only hope they'd repaint it into the new livery. Anytime I look at their 772s, I can't help but feel sad and think about the two accidents.

There are 7 -300s left with the 137 seating. These are the oldest -300s in the fleet.

ALL of the -700s are the same seat model so the comfort should be the same.

The -700s with scimitars are the following:

There are likely more. One other thing to note, it's likely these are being done when the aircraft is on its 6Y,8Y, etc checks which are in between painting intervals. WN planes get paint every 6-7 years.

There are only two A/C in the gold livery. N711HK and N714CB. 711 recently got repainted into its classic colors, 792 is flying around in the Heart Livery. I am not too sure 8301 will remain in the Spirit livery, but I could be wrong.. N943WN will be the new California One.
