The E175-E2 is the future of the regional jet market. What's left of E2 performance after they make it AA/DL/UA scope compliant? If they don't make it current scope-compliant it's all but DOA, because it's very, very unlikely that scope can be changed cheaply, and there won't be enough of a worldwi...Jump to post
This. Those points work for any job interview. Not necessarily. Showing too much eagerness and excitement is a often a fast track to the discard pile. Most important, know why you're there. Show you understand the nature of the job description and you're not making it more to be than what's listed ...Jump to post
So we all know that both Trump and the Democrats want to get infrastructure done, and I don't think you will find a lot of people in the general public who will disagree that this is an issue of vital importance. But, given the swelling budget deficit and other issues, how do you get it done? Here ...Jump to post

I know we’re talking global infrastructure, but at least on US domestic it is infinitely cheaper to put it over the ground. There are freight companies that specialize in it. I know of one that can dispatch a truck within 3 hours to ATL for DL. My father is a freight broker and has done multiple of ...Jump to post
I’m sorry, but you can’t separate the challenge of obtaining parts from the aircraft. If something is broken and you can’t get parts, there is something wrong with your airplane. We can protect it all we want and say it’s a fantastic airplane, but more than one airline has proved it simply isn’t tru...Jump to post

I fly out of Atlanta 99% of the time, 98% of the time DL beats SW by $20-$500, if you don’t check an bag in. Sometime even checking 2 bags in DL I am still saving compared to SW. Also SW don’t fly out of ATL to major city’s as often as DL. So it kinda hard to grow for SW in Atlanta. Every city I ha...Jump to post
I love WN and I’m loyal to them, but my satisfaction has dropped recently due to cancelled flights. I’ll go back to loving them once they can get their planes back in the air and run an on time scheduleJump to post
I just don't see how frequency over capacity is sustainable. The biggest hubs are the biggest hubs for a reason: They are in the largest markets. Cities like London,Beijing, New York, and the like do not show any signs of slowing their growth, and you can only expand airports so far before it becom...Jump to post
My expectation that a majority of this will be facilitated by having the most commonly ordered items in stock at more fulfillment centers. There will be inventory-misses that are covered by air freight. One of the things that another article mentioned is how squishy of a promise Amazon's current Tw...Jump to post
I always love when “Frequent Fliers” are shocked by certain fees. Every FF I know can tell you exactly what everything costs on an airline, even while having the fees waived.
This is about as common as it gets. Maybe don’t fly and bring your whole house with you?
Will 1 day delivery be more facilitated by more air freight, or by having the 10K (25K?) most commonly ordered items stockpiled in more places? My expectation that a majority of this will be facilitated by having the most commonly ordered items in stock at more fulfillment centers. There will be in...Jump to post
I'd tell them to beat it. If they didn't want to fly an airline with assigned seats, fly WN. I'm not very concerned about where I sit, I'd just prefer an aisle. But I selected my seat, if they didn't or bought a seat at the last minute, that is isn't my problem. The only time I'd think about moving ...Jump to post
Wall Street likes the current management, even throughout the grounding they’ve demonstrated they aren’t abandoning them. That says a lot when the company is in crisis mode.Jump to post
It's one of the few new paint schemes that have come out in the last few years that I've liked at first look. WN and AA have eventually grown on me, but I like it. Enough color without being too much, not too drastic of a change that you lose the brand already in place, but enough to change it. This...Jump to post

Don't think it is offensive or screams anything. I probably wouldn't have even given it a second look if I saw it on the road.
I have a bigger problem with the fact that every state police vehicle in my state is unmarked, but that's a debate for another day.
This should be nominated for thread title of the year.
Agreed the pilots have something to be upset about. I'm not exactly a pro union guy, but they deserve special representation, It's just unfortunate the companies get hit with the government's actions.
The Pilots and the FAs have HUGE pay increase adjustments when doing redeye flying. On already trashy redeye yields, how much is left over to make these flights worth it form a profit standpoint? WN pilots get a 3% override for redeye flying. I'd hardly consider that huge. The reason we don't curre...Jump to post

Plus, in comparison to other navaids, they're cheap to operate. No use taking down something as simple as that to save a few hundred bucks a year.
