Uzbekistan Airways have just leased A330 LY-TKL (Heston Airlines, ex Aeroflot VQ-BBF).
Did they need the extra capacity? Since Uzbekistan have the 787, this A330-200 entering the fleet caught me by surprise.

If I remember well, the Fokker 100 (maybe the F70 aswell) can takeoff normally without any usage of flaps/slats, depending on the conditions.
Not so sure about other aircraft... specially MD-80 series! Northwest and Spanair crashes come to mind

In the 1980s and 1990s they served São Paulo and Buenos Aires (Montevideo too, if I remember well) using IL-86 and IL-96. I guess there were other destinations aswell. The model should really be "777-200LRF", but Boeing decided to mess up the whole system and named it "777F" :yuck:
