AA dropped service to REC and SSA about 2 years ago at the height of the Brazilian recession and Zika. Would like to see them reinstate those cities but with the 757s on the way out, I doubt it...

I recently saw the CEO of PHL speak at an event and she stressed the need for business and leisure travelers to "fly the other guys". With AA having such a fortress hub at PHL, other airlines are finding it difficult to compete. DL did wonders for the fares on PHL-LHR...

I visited Victoria Falls, both in Zimbabwe and Zambia, in early 2014. The amount of tourists in Zim was substantially less than Zam - we practically had the place to ourselves.

While I agree the Zim side is better for viewing the falls, why has VFA received more air service than LVI?

Prior to this, AA's flight to PHL was the closest to year round service FCO had on a US carrier. It operated daily all but a few weeks in February and early March...

From what their website is showing, the flight into SAT on 5/1 is full, with only 5 seats open. It's pretty much the same out of SAT, it's pretty much full as well, except for 11 seats. I'd say the route is doing pretty well. I wouldn't call 15% of the seats open (11 out of 75) "full" but...

In addition to the lack of connecting opportunities in London VS FRA/CDG (due to geography) let's not forget that Chinese are not that "UK-oriented" as former British colonies like Singapore, Hong Kong or Malaysia. If you look at tourist numbers, Germany or France have much higher numbers...
