Re: United pokes fun at Southwest boarding process in a new ad

"Yeah, I don't quite get it either. Why is United doing this now? Is there anyone really unaware of how Southwest boards?"

Because everyone is talking about it. Word of mouth advertising for United. Just be sure to spell UNITED correctly.

So I presume you're looking for ship numbers, which as noted is different at each carrier. The Delta Museum has done a good job of cataloging many of the fleet numbers. For example: http://www.deltamuseum.org/docs/site/aircraft-pages/delta_757_list_2013-09.pdf?sfvrsn=2 http://www.deltamuseum.org/do...

Re: Fleet/Nose Numbers

Planespotters.net lists fleet numbers. Just search for the airline, the fleet matrix will show and there is a column for fleet numbers. This can be sorted into number order if required. Thank you. I use Planespotters.net every day. However, their list of fleet numbers is good, but they do NOT show ...

I am trying to determine the 3 & 4 digit fleet/nose numbers various US airlines use. Is there a database I can utilize to search fleet/nose numbers? In the long term, I can't see A380s converted to package carriers, but I wonder if they can be retrofitted for oversized cargo? Maybe they could be retrofitted for an oversized cargo market that runs in between the An-124 and the An-225?

I live about 5 minutes from SJC. I have been using SJC since the 1970s, back when I could walk out the gate onto the tarmac and up the rear stairs on a PSA Boeing 727.
