Passing through OMA yesterday, N330NW/3230 is apparently still being worked on after its birdstrike back in November. Must have been quite the hit:

Last trip was SLC-SFO-LAX and then returning LAX-SLC back in February to visit a friend in LA. The next one would've been SLC-DTW-BTV in March with DL, returning via ORD with United.

Just to add a note about the wings, on most (if not all) early 727s, the wings were basically bare aluminum all over with coroguard in the center section (the greyish-metallic stuff). Elevators and the leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer were also aluminum, while the rest was usually Boeing gr...

It's been noted elsewhere that there's a difference between parking and retiring. I hope nobody here really thinks DL is retiring a 13 year-old A333. It's just getting some time in the Arizona sun. Yeah, I hope my wording was clear enough (hence my use of the word "parked")...guess we'll ...

Re: Your Most Delayed Flights of 2019

The longest one for me was American Eagle/SkyWest 3003 from SLC to ORD on June 12, which was about 3 1/2 hours late. No reason was ever given, but I suspect it had to do with the GPS outage that occurred that week which was wreaking havoc on certain FMS models (including the one found in most CRJs)....

Nebraska used to do something like every three years, and people would get so attached to their letter/number combo that the DMV would ask if they wanted the same one when getting their new plates. Now it's up to six years, and as far as I know, they're all randomly assigned (though 90 of the 93 cou...

No. I actually can't complain about any of the employees I interacted with on my most recent trip with them; they were all very nice and helpful. N215WE and N216WE (IFL Group)

I was close, but missed out on the first and last 717s delivered to Midwest while flying on them between 2003 and 2009. Still, 23/25 isn't bad!

I'll have to look through my records again, but I think I've managed to get about 60 of Delta's MD-88s, with a couple of repeats.

CRJ-100/200, easily. The -700 and -900 are an improvement, but I spent 3 hours flying in one SLC-ORD a few weeks ago, which wasn't fun (I mean, the fact that it was American Eagle may also have had something to do with that).

You're right that there were quite a few UA 757s that saw all four- N563UA is one example of them (and probably more than a few 767s as well).
