Re: LH ordering 5 more A350s and 5 more 787-9

Both orders are now also on the Airbus and Boeing order overviews. The A350 order for 5 was actually accompanied by a cancellation for 3x A350s, so their order total only increased by 2. The 787 order is actually for 5 more, nothing was cancelled. It's also now confirmed that these are 5 787s with ...

Yes I get that. So where is an official statement? They seem to still accept their 787s.. but nothing on their A350s....kinda weird to me. You would think they would have given an indication which direction they are going...but nothing.

Seems plausable ...seems a real crazy situation EY is in right now....to go to nothing from where they were is quite amazing!

I find it quite remarkable that there has not been any official word from EY..Airbus or Boeing.

Especially Airbus with 62 A350s on the line. Notwithstanding they can place those frames with other carriers, it's a big chunk of their order book!

They keep deferring the A350s while ordering Boeing widebodies right left and center. I do not see them getting any A350s, otherwise they would be on site already with the A350-1000s.

When a Chinese tourist makes a once in a lifetime trip to Europe they need a visa. They get themselves an EU visa for the Schengen zone. If they want to visit the UK, they need a separate UK visa. Most don't bother, and only visit mainland Europe. This cannot improve with Brexit unless the UK gover...

The aero engine part of GE is very valuable (approx $100BN) on its own. So I do not see a negative going forward. In fact, with the huge backlogs at both A & B, its value should increase as more and more single aisle jets are sold, not to mention the widebody side.
