Re: Boeing says NO to returning to Seattle

The LAST thing Boeing needs right now is the distraction of a big move. I'd argue they didn't need to move in the first place. But overall, location will not fix culture. Culture is in the mindset of the management and the employees, and not location dependent. Somewhere, Boeing lost sight of their...

If there was a way to bring the ex-ABC 748Fs up to speed then these 3 BOC Aviation Fs will be the test. It has been a year or so on OE-LFI and only rumors so far. Re: Boeing says NO to returning to Seattle

Reading the article, it doesn't strike me that Boeing is saying no to moving back to Seattle. What they are saying no to is letting a non-binding shareholder vote be held. I think it is unlikely Boeing moves back, but I think we need to be careful of what Boeing is actually objecting to here. They ...

Sure, labor and management would ideally be aligned. In Boeing’s case, it should be extremely clear by now that labor was right and management was wrong. There is no hero or villain in this story. Both fuselages are roughly circular and the widest point of both the 777 and A350 is near the armrests. There’s no getting around that a 10 abreast A350 will be a miserable experience.
