I agree Iceland was running way over capacity. Both at the airport and the city.

AA uses its least comfortable F product on the majority of its PHL-CLT transcons the non 3 class 321. 5-6 hours . I think economically they want less cycles more hours on those birds. probably something similar for BA. The economics make that the best plane to use.

I only see 15 empty seats on the BTV-ORD segment today. The 739 is alot larger than a 319. Looks like there was a need for extra seats, so it kind of worked out today.

Southwest had too many flight cancellations to keep #1. The engine issues and now MAX being unsafe to be flown.

The 320 cannot takeoff on those runways for anywhere they would want to go. JFK, BOS, FLL, MCO all way too far for a 320 on thsoe short runways. Slots are not even the issue.

spoke with someone at a resort in Cuba recently. They said AC was pumping, almost too cold. Resort had an old Russian AC unit that use to be used for a hospital......not a joke. They said AC was pumping no issues in resorts.

The legacy coach even on this "business heavy" plane is basically allegiant. No reason to pretend that recline is a luxury item anymore. It's an outdated feature from a time when there was actually space to recline.

I'm guessing it's a combination of cheaper place for an airplane to sit, and easier to bus board people onto a plane than Logan. Ie it save money and they can get thebpmane boarded and loaded faster or at least much easier to load with both equipment and people direct from buses.
