MCO has both arrivals and departures in the middle of the night. there is a JetBlue flight arriving at 1:30AM from EWR, as well as some departures at that time.

Any thoughts or early indications on where the 777's will come from ? No way they will get a 777, way too much airplane for them. I know they were considering a few leased 787's for PEK and JFK route, but first they needed to up their feeder network for which they were considering the addition of a...

Re: Delta to upgauge MCO-GRU to A330 effective 16SEP17

Delta runs a connector flight to/from MIA for the MCO/GRU service with a A320 so there must be a good number of passengers using this connection. I was on the ATL-MCO flight Friday night and there were quite a few Brazilians connecting to MCO-GRU flights. It is a great connection, you basically get...

Not for long, since LATAM is leasing most, if not all, of its A350 to QR.

Really? Why is that? I have not heard that. Can they not make them work in their network? Too big?

Re: Delta to upgauge MCO-GRU to A330 effective 16SEP17

Well, DL can easily fill an A333 on MCO-ATL and ATL-MCO. I fly that route often (currently operated by the A321 and B757-200/300), it is always full. Load factors must be well over 90% on average for the route. Furthermore, MSP-MCO_MSP is 3x daily on B763 + 1x B737-900, I am sure an A330 could work ...

Hello all,

I was wondering to see if any of you have any info on how well/not well LH is doing at MCO? The flight seems to have stuck, so I imaging that it is profitable. If it is worth it couldn't others make direct to mainland EU work?

Thanks,

KLM can barely make Miami work, although it's trying for a third time in 12 years starting this fall. Arkefly has the market covered. That is a very sucky flight. Especially since the leg to AMS has a stop over in Miami... Possibly the shortest 787 segment... SFB-MIA-AMS http://flightaware.com/live...

Martin Air used to operate AMS-MCO as well as Air France CDG-MCO. With both those routes gone, could a KLM AMS-MCO-AMS rotation with a 787 be feasible?

I think there is the market for it, especially for a SkyTeam carrier.
